What are you willing to do to get what you want in life?
- Weight loss
- More time with your family
- More money for vacations
Will you invest in yourself, or put it off?
Will you take time to learn something new, or say you just can't right now?
I challenge you to take a big step today and something that scares you.
Take the time, spend the money, do the thing that feels uncomfortable.
On the other side is everything you want...
One of the best things about quarantine (in my humble opinion) is the time for self reflection and self-improvement!
I've been taking more time to read, get creative and figure out how to slow down. The book Self-Compassion by Kristin Neff, PhD, has been fantastic!!

What has the best thing about quarantine been for you?
There's an easy way out.....hide in front of the TV, on social media. But when this is over, because it will end...
How will you be better for it?
Will you have grown?
Evolved?
Become better because of this challenge?
There are so many ways to use this challenge to your advantage! To use this time wisely (and that doesn't mean you can't watch Netflix!).
How can you use this time to become better, learn something new, create something awesome?!
There are so many ways!
The opportunities are endless during this time of self exploration....
An episode of Wine About It, my weekly Facebook live show @Basically It Meals Thursdays at 5:30, had me on my soapbox!
When it comes to living your life, you are way better off listening to your body than counting points, calories or macros.
Listening can be a challenge when most of us have been tuned out to what is happening in there since we hit puberty. It all starts with slowing down.
