Who else is a Self-Help junkie?
I have been hooked since I was young. I was watching an Oprah show after school and it was centered around the topic and I just knew I wanted more.
The idea of "improving myself" like you would make updates to your home (weird analogy? ) was so fascinating to me.
I don't know when I bought my first self-help book was, but I now have a collection of them by my bed.
But for me, self-help isn't limited to that book collection. It shows up all over my life- like my obsessive journaling and my endless quest to be the healthiest I can be.
The one area of self-help I feel I have definitely mastered is meal prep.
This is also the area I have seen THE MOST impact on my life and my clients lives.
When it comes to losing weight, feeling confident, removing temptation, having freedom at meal times, having more time and saving money- learning to meal prep will instantly and seamlessly give you all of them.

One of the best things about quarantine (in my humble opinion) is the time for self reflection and self-improvement!
I've been taking more time to read, get creative and figure out how to slow down. The book Self-Compassion by Kristin Neff, PhD, has been fantastic!!
Something I have working on during the forced slow down is being nice to myself . It's helping me enjoy my days more, not beat myself up for dietary "slip ups" (while still losing weight), and helping my business grow!
